Welcome to House Victoria in the historic town Oudtshoorn, South Africa.

We have created a private, luxurious and spacious environment for carefree, retired living. A secure and intimate establishment with focus on individual care and attention. A home where our residents, pets and visitors find harmony.

The property is made up of multiple, combined plots which accommodates a maximum of 12 residents in 8 rooms, managed by a dedicated team of staff. We also make use of registered, medical and nursing services while personalized, assisted living needs can be requested.

Your hosts are Marius and Petra Wilken. Between the 2 of them, they have decades of experience in the hospitality, care and nursing industry.

Attention to detail, personal attention and guest satisfaction comes naturally. Marius, Petra and the entire team of House Victoria are fluent in both English and Afrikaans.

About the premises

The Facilities

House Victoria exists on 4 properties merged into 1 with a lovely garden and splash pool. A secure property with CCTV cameras plus free and safe off-street parking for residents with a vehicle. In-house services include cooked meals, TV lounges, Free Wi-Fi, unlimited laundry service and organized town trips with companions for those with itchy feet. We have resident cats who love cuddles – often on a lap, or occupied couch.

Rooms

Most rooms are air-conditioned and have private, en-suite facilities ideal for single occupancy. Shared bathrooms will serve no more than 2 residents. Larger, sharing rooms can comfortably accommodate couples, siblings or friends with their own bathroom and lounge area in the suite. Rooms are serviced and all linen provided, unless you prefer your own. Bring your own furniture or allow us to furnish the room for you. All windows have block-out blinds and neutral color curtains that can be changed if so desired.
